It's a shame I like it because I know it won't last. You can look at it and it scratches. Haven't had it long and it looks beaten up.

This is a perfect notebook for holding a 6x9" note pad when I'm working. Holds a pen perfectly and has a side pouch for information I need when in the field. The leather is thick enough to last and thin enough to be flexible. I am very pleased with this product.

I had purchased this item last year for my daughter. I must say it was absolutely beautiful! The rich wine color, the workmanship and to say nothing about the personal packaging. She almost did not get it. I reordered this item for myself this year with total disappointment. This steno cover easily accomodates an 80 page 6"x9" steno pad, and may even handle thicker ones up to 100 pages. Right off the bat, I too a utility knife and carefully removed the pen loop with disturbing the leather stitching than held it on. Unfortunately, the loop flops inward and interferes to the point of tearing steno sheets when turning pages or returning them to position. I normally carry a couple of pens in my pocket, so no problem. The leather is REAL, so it will mar and wear easily…

This product is amazing. Fits the Steno pad perfectly and always me to flip through my pages in the note pad. Perfect for work.

It's nice that I found a cover for my steno notebook which I primarily use in my travels.The cover is not as stiff when compared to a regular steno notebook cover. The stiffness is given when a person puts a steno notebook in the cover no added backing for stiffness.

This works perfectly for my Rhodia steno notepads. The leather’s so great and classic. For now all it does is sit on my desk, so practically speaking there isn’t any utility to it (for me). I just love the look and feel of it. If you like the tactile and visceral feel of good paper and good ink, this will be an excellent edition.

After having received the cover, the brown resembles coffee. it's a tad dark, but overall it's a good design. May not be professional enough for some workplaces!

I asked myself why I was paying so much. . .until I received this item. Genuine leather, and very nice. Perfectly wrapped for a gift, too. I love it.

This exceeded my expectations! I thought it might be kind of cheap, because it was not high-priced, but it was packaged like a hand-crafted item, and has the look and feel of such. This was a hard-to-find size, which makes it even more of a surprisingly good find. I am very, very happy with the quality. A real bargain!

The quality, weight and feel of this would put into a 100 plus category. I was very surprised at the heft of the thing. I wanted a leather cover for my notepad and iPad mini the had inward facing pockets do they would not fall out. A harder task than you would think. I found options in the 300 range but wasn't that committed to it!Love this produce and carry it every day. Also, pen loop is large enough for my Pelican or Mont Blanc pens. (Not the 149 but everything below that.)

Simple design, nice quality leather, looks like it will last. No frills, if you’re looking for something fancy with lots of pockets & gadgets probably not right for you.

The leather cover is soft and scratches easily. The steno pad fits nicely in the slot. I like the flaps for carrying papers, cards. The pen holder sticks out a bit far from the side. It would be better if it was inside the fold of the cover. If I am writing on several pages, flipping them over the top is awkward.

So I decided on a whim to pick up this leather cover as I was officiating for a friend's wedding and wanted something more than a simple notebook. Seriously I was thinking of using this thing once and donating it to Goodwill! No, for the price you cannot beat this gem of a cover!
