So the instructions are not particularly helpful. I had to contact YouTube. That's good but disappointing. Many steps. Unfortunately the tools provided are not enough to remove the old screen, but I figured it out. The new item was difficult to install - lots of tiny inserts etc, unfortunately no new pieces of tape were provided to close the connectors for the new cables. So whoever throws away the old ones is SOL. Went to install a new digitizer in place. And the screen cracked against the bezel at the top of the screen. Pooh. So so so frustrating. I don't know what I could have done differently. I guess I'll have to buy another one now and hope it doesn't tear this time. Pretty annoying process.
