As always with these unbranded IoT devices, the app required to setup this thing for smart functions is a complete mess. The included instructions are for a different smart plug model with different controls and displays. I have a lot of electrical engineering and information technology experience and I still can't get the damn thing together. I got a horrible app that saw the fork twice, but with no feedback other than a progress bar (no indication of what the progress bar was for), the device failed to 'add' both times. So it's a waterproof dumb socket with a switch. It has no integration with Alexa or Google because the app is terrible for that and who knows if it will be available in a month. If you need a smart plug, look elsewhere. This thing isn't worth the pain in your ass. If you want a blunt plug with a switch, buy something cheaper. If you want to spend an hour without achieving anything, take this.
