Very easy to set up! I love that I no longer have to fiddle with my timers to turn on all my lights at once! You can set up a schedule through the Smart Life app and everything happens at the same time! At first I bought one but ended up buying a second one because I liked it so much! My kids also love that they can ask Alexa to turn on the outside lights!

Updated Tuya software prevents Tasmota OTA firmware. Serial flashing still works, but it requires a skilled hand at soldering to simplify the process. Basically there is no solder on the TX and RX chips so you have to add something to attach the wires and that might be all it takes for an untrained hand to strip pads, burn circuits etc. Not that I would know. In any case, a successful serial flush will get you Tasmota and a much more useful, relatively cheap, smart way out of the Chinese cloud.

I bought the HBN Heavy Duty Wi-Fi Timer along with the Meross timers not knowing that the HBN Timer was from a different brand. Easy to install. Wi-Fi connected over a long distance. The app is excellent. The downside is the operating temperature range, which isn't listed on Revain. From -14°C to +60°C. I bought this outdoor outlet to run an aquarium pump from a tank to water my plants. No home hub. It took a little effort to connect the app to the device, but it worked in the end. The body seems solid. However, my outdoor socket is upside down and the floor is on top.
