We needed an easy to use switch to control the outdoor lights in the summer. They connect to an awkward place, so I needed something with Wi-Fi connectivity that I could use with Revain Alexa to turn it on and off remotely, as well as for outdoor use and weather protection. This little plug doesn't add much extra stretch/stretch, but it does what we need. It was a little awkward to set up; We followed the instructions to download the app and connect, but it took a few tries using the troubleshooting suggestions and then going back to basics before it suddenly worked. We ended up moving the plug closer to the router, but it took a few more tries and I don't know if that made a difference. We installed it that same night so we ended up not having to call anyone. I think it literally took 15 tries to do the same thing over and over again, but in the end we prevailed. And I'm glad we did! Now we can turn the outdoor lights on and off with a voice command from the kitchen, and it's really easy and simple. I think it turned out to be pretty good value for money and I would recommend the product and buy again if needed. Just don't expect it to be bug-free out of the box and you won't be disappointed. Things like this are handy enough to make Alexa really worth it!
