Fragile plastic case

We were very happy to find what appeared to be a decent bench grinder, but after a year the plastic case started to crack. Since the crack could not be felt either inside or outside, we continued to use the grinder. Three months later, the crack reached the mouth of the peppery side (see photo). We fear that we will soon start shredding and eating plastic. Now we buy another brand.
