I've tried several plastic gas cylinders over the past few years. They just fall apart and are extremely inconvenient when refilling lawn equipment. In the end I couldn't take it anymore and spent the money on this metal can. It met or exceeded all of my expectations. Due to the fact that it's metal I think it should be the last spray bottle I ever need to buy. It is very easy to fill the lawn mower with the adjustable handle and the gas will not leak. You can adjust the flow by changing the pressure on the release handle. Filling the glass is a little more problematic. The cap is spring loaded and you must hold it open while trying to insert the gas nozzle. It's not too difficult to do. I just put my foot on the jar and open the jar with one hand and hold the spout with the other. Once the nozzle is in the jar, you have no problem with the lid. The good news is that since the lid is spring loaded, the spring will prevent gas from escaping once the petrol is in the can and you don't have to worry about your car smelling of fuel. All in all, this is just a minor downside to the can's superior quality and performance. If you are looking for a quality gas cylinder that will work and last, this is your cylinder.
