Review on πŸ•’ Mark Feldstein & Associates 13 Inch Audubon Singing Bird Wall Clock by Jeff Westra

The volume correlates with the brightness of your lights

Still going strong after a few years. We love the pleasant bird calls that can be heard throughout the day! I wanted to address one of the issues that, as far as I recall, were raised. There were those who complained that the birds' calls were too loud and those who complained that they were too quiet. Well, that's completely contradictory, so what is it? I've learned by taking it to a few different places during the time we've had it and watching it at different times of the day that the volume is directly related to how bright or dim the lighting is. Bright direct lighting = louder; muted, less direct light = softer. Total darkness of course = no sound. Really awesome design! You can buy it without fear. I had to return a similar unbranded one because the hands stopped turning about a week after purchase. There is no such problem with it. Yes, it's plastic, but with five kids, it even survived a few falls (once it just stood still instead of being attached to the wall until we could reach it), and even then it kept chugging along. no problem.
