Buy if you plan on getting hit at the side of the road

Did not live up to expectations. I have installed several different brands of hidden flashes, these are by far the worst. I went to check them in the existing 1" holes from my last stash. The fit wasn't tight on either light, but the plastic lens broke off like it was nothing. On closer inspection, the lantern was taped down without any weather protection and was only held in place by two small plastic straps. I would not fit them into a vehicle used for ANY emergency response! They were intended to be used for a secondary warning on a vehicle I don't use very often, but after taking a closer look at the lights (after they clicked like Thanos) they were returned! I can buy used name brand headlights for $10 less than what I can throw in the ocean for a month and still use. an acceptable price for them is about half of what they retail for. and even then I wouldn't buy them anyway. Bottom line: these bulbs aren't Class 1, they're not weatherproof (let alone waterproof!), they're not that much cheaper than competitor bulbs, and they'll break while installed. Why did I even give these three stars!? Maybe the more expensive Speedtech hideouts are better?

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
