Not compatible with electronic heaters. It is not possible to switch off the permanent heating alarm. The permanent heating signal cannot be switched off. I don't know why they removed this feature. It's so annoying that the alarm clock goes off every three days. It seems so easy to add. All I wanted was for the Inkbird aquarium controller to send me a notification when the temperature in my aquarium is too low or too high and only turn off power to the heater when it gets too high. If you actually use this control to turn an electronic heater on and off continuously, all the power surges will damage the heater.
