Wiring Replacement Required: Transfer Case Components

This engine worked well on a '97 Ford Expedition. I had to disconnect the wires from the included wiring harness. The yellow and orange were too thick even on the factory connector that had to be removed. This was either an attempt to drill new holes in the connector that came with this unit or move the 5 smaller wires into the old SUV connector and connect the 2 thick ones together. After tracing the wires color by color it was easier to season the 2 thicker ones and move the 5 thinner ones to the old connector. The old connector had to move twice as many wires. If someone wearing a suit and tie is actually working on their own car or truck and they get dirty, it could be a simple plug and play operation. Because people in suits and ties are afraid of getting a little dirty, we folks who get dirty and work on our cars and trucks have a harder time, not because we're stupid, but because suits and ties are stupid. So if you wear a suit and tie, do not buy this piece, you will stain this satin and maybe even taste some rust and dirt. I suggest that in this part the connector is separated from the cables, then I would give 5 stars. Much installation time saved. But after the installation it works perfectly. My SUV now has 2 wheels instead of 4 wheels. I can also include 4x4 Hi and Low.
