Very short life with any type of battery. I was only using one for underneath my kitchen cabinets so I could make coffee without the big lights needing to be on. They drain the life right out of the battery within about a week.**UPDATE** The seller contacted me immediately upon posting my review and offered to help. They sent me a different version of a light they sell at no cost to me.
