He burned my logic board.
This item blew the logic board on my brand new i7 16gb Macbook. The power-through function had a small amount of ungrounded feedback or something. After I used it to back up a time machine from an external hard drive, the computer started acting strangely. Sometimes I didn't take the cable with me to charge. I used it again for a video project from an external hard drive and the computer completely stopped loading afterwards. Apple fixed it and said everything inside needs to be replaced except the battery. I looked at the battery cycles after I got it back. 9 battery cycles. The computer was almost new. Such a shame. Only buy this product if you want to destroy your computer.
