Let me start by saying that this product has not been field tested. By that I mean I have not tested this product in the real world. I was more than unsure when I bought this lock. This chateau had no written reviews and there were only 5 reviews for this chateau at the time, although all the reviews were 5 stars. Also, I was looking for a lock for my electric skateboard, not a bike. This severely limited my options as there is only one way I can lock my electric skateboard, as you can see in the photo I posted. My first impressions of this castle are very good. This lock is safe and secure. I bought a bigger one. The size of the internal locking space is 9.25 inches and 4 inches. The entire lock is approximately 11.5 inches long. It weighs 2 pounds 11 ounces or 1222 grams. The included packaging states that this lock has a security rating of 9 out of 10. I have to say right away that I would love to lock my electric skateboard with this lock. This lock is very easy to open and close with the key. I'm definitely not going to mess around and wish I had a third hand to make it easier to pick or close this lock. At just under $50 this lock gives me confidence and so far I am very happy with my purchase. I almost missed it due to the lack of reviews and ratings, but my intuition told me to give it a try. I'm glad I did. I will update my review if I encounter any issues with this lock but I don't expect any.
