A must have for the serious DIY enthusiast

This is my first full featured scanner and I wish I hadn't waited so long for it. My expectations were high based on the cost of this device and all the positive reviews I've seen and the MP808TS didn't disappoint. /C components. I also appreciate the TPMS functionality. For the do-it-yourselfer, this unit supports a lot more vehicles than I will ever need to service, but the features per vehicle are excellent and it's great to see Autel constantly releasing firmware updates as new features are added. First impression: - Solid construction. Quality - Reliable, mature software - Easy upgrade process - Nice storage box - 7 inch screen comes with screen protector pre-installed - nice! I tested the HDMI output on a 4K TV and it worked great. does not officially support audio, when viewing the output via HDMI I could hear audio from the external display. I also successfully paired a bluetooth speaker to the scanner and that worked too. Volume control feature may be supported in the future. I was also wondering if I should use peripherals so I don't have to use an Android keyboard for data entry, and I've successfully connected a Logitech G915 keyboard and Logitech MX Master 3 mouse via a USB dongle, which is pretty was cool. may force the G915 to connect via Bluetooth, but that may be due to the BlueZ app not supporting the latest Bluetooth Low Energy devices. This can of course be fixed with an update. I haven't seen a way to download apps on an installed version of Android Kit Kat, but I'd love to if possible. I highly recommend this Autel scanner for DIY or small business and the seller is very responsive with fast shipping. Do not be shy!
