This dress you will need a slip. Material is more sheer than expected and clings. It has a slight chemical smell that I hope will come out in a delicate or hand wash. Fabric softener should remove the cling and allow the fabric to flow as advertised. It appears to be a comfortable casual dress with elastic waist.
