***Updated 10/16/20*** Bought another of these drives after the first one was so good. I received an OEM drive from Platinum Micro Inc. No mention of OEM hard drives sold at the same retail price. Don't do this unless you trust Platinum Micro to fix issues you may have had over the years, firmware, noise, crashes, etc. Yes, that's right. I've been in IT since the 90's and have seldom seen a reseller honor an OEM warranty except for big names like Dell, HP etc. Market vendors offering OEMs leave the consumer in the weeds after they break your wallet have stolen. Of course you save a few euros, but the zero guarantee on devices that are relatively prone to failure is not worth it. Note that there is nothing to suggest you are buying an OEM drive. Also, I just repurchased the previously purchased Cart History disks. *** Sweet sweet spinner. 239/236 r/w You can customize it for low power consumption, 5 year warranty. It's a bit noisy, but when the other machines are running you hardly notice it. I will buy them for a while.
