This is the second Garmin I've worn. Before that, I used the Garmin Fenix 3 for five years, sometimes it lacked a built-in heart rate monitor, but for training I always had a chest HRM-RUN with me. I finally made up my mind and bought a Garmin fenix 6 pro. Compared to fenix 3, a lot of things have improved here: the watch’s LCD screen has become more contrasting and easy to read, there is a built-in optical heart rate monitor and a pulse oximeter, the duration of work has increased compared to fenix 3, 3-4 workouts on a single charge (1.5- 2 hours) with GPS turned on - it works for a week and something else remains. Without training - theoretically up to a month, but I have not checked this. It seems that the protection on Gorilla glass works, maybe worse than sapphire, but better than mineral glass - for half a year skiing in winter and MTB-XC in spring and summer, there were no scratches. The software is familiar and convenient. I was pleased that compared to the previous fenix 3, applications can now place up to 6 data fields on the screen. Garmin fenix is, first of all, a sports tracker that fulfills its tasks 100%, but it also copes 100% as a smartwatch for everyday use - notifications come, there is contactless payment, there is player control on the phone and this tracker is not needed recharge often!
