Review on WonderMill - Ultimate Bread Dough Mixer with Dough Hook - Bread Kneader and Dough Maker - Electric Stand Mixer for Kitchen - Upgraded WonderMix Revolution Kitchen Mixer by Tommy Woods

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Rated 2 stars - I'm wavering between 4 and 5 stars.

Improvement: The spatula started to break off. Contacted support and was told to drop the scraper as it is a known issue. They said you can do without. No, that is not so. The dough just went in circles and climbed to the center. It wasn't mistaken. It turned out to be hard bread. The scraper is a staple and now I'm stuck with a noisy useless mixer as I only need it for bread. Returned and obtained an Ankarsrum. Huge, huge, huge differences in quality. Now I bake baker quality bread. Old review: I'll start with the bad/cons. It's plastic. Anything but investments. I would like a metal version. Also, it's LOUD. Now for the good: I knew it was plastic, but it's durable. NOT thin. And for the price? That's great. Unbeatable volume, but I have a Vitamix and it's just as loud. So I just adjust it. Really good material: it kneads the dough perfectly and very quickly as advertised. I made a great pain de mie in it from my first recipe. Only 7 minutes to knead. I let it rise in the bowl for an hour and then knead it for a minute. Removed, shaped and placed in a bread pan. Let rise and bake for 30 minutes. So good. Cleaning went well. Setup was even easier. I like being able to easily install and remove bowls/accessories etc. I also appreciate a simple dial that breaks less. I bought a basic Vitamix with a dial and a button for the same reason. I'm happy with the lifetime warranty and hope it lasts for many years to come. If they don't make a metal version. :D
