The old Bose Soundock gathering dust in the garage has come back to life!

I chose this product because I knew there had to be an inexpensive product that could make my very expensive Bose SoundDock (first generation) usable again. I've searched and searched and came across this A2DP Bluetooth Music Receiver + Power Adapter for Bose SoundDock. I bought it based on customer reviews. What I like about this product is that it is very easy once you follow the instructions and plug in your device. As a control station, I use an old tablet connected to Wi-Fi. I use the i-Heart Radio app, Pandora, Google Music and SiriusXM radio most of the time to stream music. Because it's portable I took the SoundDock on vacation with whom we shared a house and everyone loved the sound of the Bose SoundDock and how easy it was to sync their music to it and get A+ quality music with no hum listen. During our vacation all the guys who were traveling with the old Bose SoundDock asked me where they could get an adapter and bluetooth device so I recommend this product. If you have an older generation SoundDock, you MUST buy a power adapter or it won't work. The only problem I had was that it didn't work once the last time I was connected. To troubleshoot, I unplugged all 'paired' devices from the adapter (my wife's laptop, my work laptop, 2 smartphones and a tablet) and then it worked when I plugged my tablet back in. For some weird reason maybe too many devices were trying to contact him? If you have trouble with that, read the instructions and start over and you'll be fine. I had this running music while working from home for 8-10 hours so it's very "user hardened". Enjoy your daily music listening or as a wireless speaker.
