I paid $40 for this strap while others pay $25. I am not sure if it is the same product but for this price I would give 1 star more. I've tried hitting it with a razor, but I also use slings for chisels, planes, and knives. It has little traction and I've treated it with leather (saddle cream) to loosen it up, but it still feels like a sponge. Hope it improves.
