Do not purchase this pump if you cannot fully immerse the suction hose in water. What I didn't know was that this pump required the entire suction hose to be filled with water. That's not the situation I had with the underground water butt I was trying to water my garden with. Another big disadvantage is that I wanted to return the pump, which was never used, in the original packaging. Commors sent me a return label for shipping to China, postage was $127! Yes, for a pump that's only like $90 and doesn't cost me anything since I can't even use it. Hoping to find a cheap garden irrigation pump is going to cost me a lot more than I expected. You can give me a partial refund, we'll see, don't know, haven't received anything yet.
