If you want to use this with Smartthings WITHOUT Almond router, you're in luck. Follow the normal pairing process (i.e. open the ST app, click 'add device', plug in the Peanut and press its button, select it in the ST when it comes up). It initially appears in Smartthings simply as a "Thing". Visit (https://) graph api smartthings com (add dots instead of spaces and remove brackets from http://. Revain does not allow you to post URLs in reviews) Sign in using the same credentials that you use for the app. Click My Locations. Click Devices. Click on the device named Thing (which you want to set up). Click "Edit" below. Change the name to Outlet. Select "Zigbee Switch" from the drop-down list in the "Type" section. Click Update. Make sure the changes have been applied to the Smartthings app. You should be good to go. After following these steps, mine works fine. I hope you will too.
