Review on ๐ŸŽง Enhance Your Nintendo Switch Audio with GENKI Audio Bluetooth 5.0 Adapter - Compatible with All BT Headphones & Airpods, Low Latency and aptX Technology (Neon) by Douglas Cochrane

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Bluetooth on the switch. With latch.

One thing I've always disliked about the Nintendo Switch is the console's lack of Bluetooth connectivity. I heard about Genki when it was in the planning stages and was thrilled when it was finally released. (Yes, I was waiting for Genki and didn't go after the others who suddenly appeared). This does establish a Bluetooth connection to the Switch, but with a catch. First, they work great when connected to a single wireless earbud. I have a Turtle Beach wired headset, but two years ago I bought a bluetooth adapter for my wired headphones. Connected my Turtle Beach to this adapter, connected Genki to the Switch and voila! I know it's too much for wireless sound. However, I also have blue-toothed in-ear headphones that I've tried that work surprisingly well, albeit with sound in only one ear. Here's the catch and why Genki gets 4 stars instead of 5. I have a pair of Bose wireless headphones that I got for Christmas. I was hoping that I could connect them to Genki and get sound through them. Unfortunately, Genki connects to them, but since each earbud is connected via a Bluetooth, Genki sees them (behind the curtain) as 2 earbuds, resulting in a very noticeable lag. This also applies if you connect different bluetooth headphones to the Genki, one for red and one for blue. If Genki could solve this problem and offer zero latency on multiple devices, I would give it 5 stars.
