Review on 🚗 Enhance Your Car Safety with the BW 7 Inch TFT LCD Digital Rear View Monitor and Waterproof Camera Combo by Jacob Mayberry

For the price, this monitor looks great. Nice color and picture. Very easy to install. There are no instructions as to which cable goes where. The black and red colors are pretty obvious, but there's no mention of what the blue wire is for. It wasn't until I read other reviews that I realized that the monitor turns on automatically when reverse gear is engaged. If the blue wire is not connected to the reverse light circuit, you need to turn on the monitor manually. I connected the blue wire and it works great. The only problem I have is that the monitor often turns on when I use reverse and stays on after I shift from reverse leaving a blue screen and I have to manually turn off the monitor. Not a big problem, but still. I like that it has an input for two cameras. I installed a second camera downstairs so I could see under my trailer and turned that camera on with a separate power switch. That way, while driving forward, I can turn on the second camera and see the tires on my trailer so I know if my tire is flat. I definitely recommend this monitor. Can't comment on durability as I've only had it for a few weeks. If it continues to work the way it is now I will order another one for my other truck. Update: It's now May 2019, four years old and this camera and monitor are still working great. Didn't expect it to last that long.
