Foam lasts 2x longer than gel liquid soap, and if the average cost of branded liquid soap is about $0.40 per ounce, and based on this product's current refill price of $2.16 per 50ml concentrate capsule or bottle, mix with 200 ml . which gives you 250 ml or 8.45 fl oz that's only about $0.25 per oz good quality liquid soap that smells like fresh green apples so what more could I ask for right? LAUGH OUT LOUD. Not to mention that it lasts twice as long as a gel-like liquid, then my price out the door is only $0.125 :). and no, I'm not a car salesman (there's nothing wrong with being a car salesman, so no hate mail please, LOL). Well what I'm saying is that it's less wasteful and more environmentally friendly in the long run and worth considering. To be honest, in most cases I've only needed about half or less of a pump to wash dishes at various times throughout the day, so I don't have to spend the other half, it's more like I would give only what i need or just pay for minutes you used some plan (now i'm talking like that t-mobile guy on tv, there's nothing wrong with that either, so. :). Seriously, this soap itself is very good, even when mixed with 1 capsule of concentrated soap instead of the recommended 2 capsules per bottle of water. Oh, I have to add that as I mostly eat lean food and I'm 99.9% vegetarian :). So 1 capsule of this concentrated dishwashing detergent is more than enough for me to get the job done, other people need 2 or more depending on preference. Overall I am very happy with this liquid dishwashing detergent, easy to use with a quality foam pump, very thick and sudsy that cleans my dishes well.
