So I first bought this press with a gift certificate for Christmas. When I received it, I was a bit surprised that the glass hadn't detached from the stainless steel housing. Water inclusions between glass and stainless steel. Despite this, I liked the press and continued to use it. About a week after receiving it, I received an email from the seller with a satisfaction question and a message about the warranty. Big ! Fast forward to about 10 days past my Amazon return window and I noticed there was coffee grounds stuck between the glass and stainless steel that couldn't be cleaned. It was a deal breaker for me. However, I found that the returns window was closed, but opened the email and let them know what was going on. I received a quick response (within 15 minutes) apologizing that my carafe wasn't removed and it shouldn't have happened. Also let me know I had a spare block on the way! I am now completely satisfied with this purchase and even more so with the customer service!
