I had a non-pixel USB-C to USB-A cable for my Google Pixel 3 to connect my phone to my 2021 CR-V associate. No connection is established. I then bought these and plugged USB C to USB C into this extension cable and connected it to my CR-V. It worked the first time, which made me very happy. The Honda dealer said there are many problems connecting Android devices to Honda. This has been true since my 2020 Honda Accord. I thought maybe the wiring doesn't provide all the necessary connections to maintain the signal. Using this USB-C to USB-A extender solved my problems. I am very satisfied with this product.
