I really like this DVR. As we are in a pandemic and I am not entirely comfortable traveling by plane with my family, longer car journeys have become the norm for us to break the monotony of working from home. Having a quality dash cam is definitely a huge benefit when you drive, but especially when you drive longer distances more often. I am very happy with this DVR for several reasons: - I have full confidence in the video quality. . It's advertised at 1080p and the camera produces enough results to get the fine detail you need in the event of an accident, like number plates or landmarks. The camera also captures good detail at night. It's incredibly easy to set up. It's easy to connect and get started with the included 16GB micro SD card. I have larger micro SD cards but I haven't felt the need to change the one that comes with it. My family is planning a long vacation trip this year so I can turn it off before I have more storage space. It's small and rather inconspicuous. All things are easy to hide behind the rearview mirror if I want to. I really only have one comment on the design, but I can see why they were able to do it. The input is like micro USB but a bit more; It comes with an L-shaped fork that just raises. However, the cable has to go down from there to get to the vehicle socket. It's an odd choice, and unless I run the cable across the roof of the car (which I'll admit the cable is probably long enough for), it's a pretty clumsy design decision. It pays to have a quality dash cam, and at its current price point of under $100, this is a good value.
