While I wasn't expecting such a heavy glass pitcher, I found it to work great with the thick frosted glass beverage cups we use for serving drinks. A frozen mug, as some may know from experience, keeps drinks colder for longer. This eliminates the use of ice cubes which can ruin the drink as they turn from ice to water. So if you are looking for that special serving glass that can be chilled for freezing then I would say this might be something for you. In addition, the price at the time of the test was extremely cheap. All of this combined makes this a 5 star product for me.
