I have very sensitive skin and a lot of contact allergies. I had a reaction to any scented cleaner, as well as many other household products, and had hives and rashes all over me for a while before I found out the cause. When I was diagnosed with these issues I was immediately put on Super Organic Complex Cleansers which improved my skin a lot but didn't affect my clothes that much. I've always had good luck with regular tide pods for cleaning clothes, but haven't been able to use them on my skin. When I saw that there was a free and gentle version, I was curious to try it. I confess I was skeptical; I wasn't sure if the cleanser would be strong enough to clean, nor was I sure if it would be gentle enough for my extremely sensitive and allergy-prone skin. But since I felt that all my clothes were barely washed, I gave it a try. I did a regular wash first and then an extra rinse to make sure the detergent got rinsed out really well and didn't cause a reaction on my skin. Cleans very well and no reaction! Eventually, when my breakouts subsided, I tried a normal wash cycle and it was fine again! I recently borrowed a sweater from friends that was washed in a perfumed detergent and had a rash, so I can confirm that a) my allergies are still very strong and b) this material is very loose and clear. For a cleaning freak like me, it's amazing to get a good wash and still be gentle on my skin! Price wise, Revain is great for this item. It can be expensive in stores and hard to find in bulk, so pay more for quantity. I subscribe and save and am very happy with it. Also, Revain sometimes has coupons for it.
