Better than nothing. But not ready for prime time.

This is the second Carlink I have bought. I like Apply CarPlay's wireless connectivity. Unfortunately, it connects about half the time. I have to disconnect and reconnect the other half. It's a pain in the butt to do. I have a wireless adapter (aftermarket) from Aston Installations (for AM DB9). It connects perfectly 100% of the time. I know the aftermarket wireless device can work properly. It's not like this.

Pros

✅CarlinKit 3.0 Functionality: Our adapter has WLAN and Bluetooth hardware. It connects via Bluetooth and sends the WiFi credentials to the phone and then disconnects from the Bluetooth network. From now on it only works via WLAN. Being plug and play, Carlinkit is very easy to install. Well, with this new faster Wi-Fi 5 chipset/internal hardware, this dongle provides an improved and more stable wireless CarPlay signal between your iPhone and the dongle.
