Much darker than pictured NOT wood grain
The product I received is much darker than the picture in the description. They are painted dark brown with some black around the edges. They definitely don't have a woody look. They were too dark for my purposes so I had to send them back. Therefore, I cannot assume any liability for their durability. I can tell they're not plastic, but they're not wooden either, so it's possible it's a bamboo fiber material. They seem very light, but not necessarily fragile.
