Review on Schwinn Steerable Beginner Bicycle Training by Michael Cleveland

You get what you pay for.

The box arrived damaged and looks like it was damaged during distribution but luckily nothing inside was damaged. The white rubber was obviously new but has turned brown. A bottle of water discolored in the same way and went straight into the trash. Apparently the engineer who designed it never attempted to assemble it. To install all the components, you will need wrenches of different sizes. The bell is similarly poorly designed and clearly "universal". It was set where you had to use your index finger to pull it back and had to be toggled to work with your left thumb. In any case, the handle gets in the way when working. The handlebars only have one position, so I can't tilt them closer to my daughter, and while she fits on the bike, she can't hold both grips on hard corners. to the side (like turning) when the bike is pointing straight ahead. It was necessary to dismantle the box underneath and reinstall the cables. After the whole assembly, the tires still needed air. If a few things were changed it would be a great bike.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Crumpled
