This heater easily heats a large bedroom or study while you close the door. It heats up slower than my Boston underfloor heating which I bought in 2012 and still use with no problems. However, I would still buy a Vernado heater, but not with automatic climate control. The problem with automatic climate heaters is that the thermostat will not work when it senses the specified temperature. You're then forced to use the continuous flow option, which we limit to high (1500w) or low (750w), and this defeats the purpose of climate control, as you're forced to heat the room warmer than you'd like .
