Seems to Heal - my new review

This is a really good quality therapy light lamp. The only slightly disconcerting thing is how big it is. It is a lot bigger than I had anticipated standing 2 feet tall with the lamp facing down. Both the lamp head and base are 8 ¼ inches in diameter and are built with what seems like quality materials. The bottom of the base and the arms are made of metal and are quite heavy while the hinged joints are made of heavy duty plastics. This makes it nice and heavy with a sturdy low center of gravity. The light quality is very bright and pleasing. It reminds me of midday summer sunlight. The lamp is quite versatile, has excellent light quality and works well as a reading lamp. My husband also found it very useful for soldering because of its long reach. The lamp is supposed to have wireless charging but I don’t have a premium phone to test that. It does also have a USB type A socket at the back of the base which provides a charging current and the base of the lamp makes for a good platform to charge your phone from. The only slight niggle with phone charging via cable is that my phone doesn’t automatically charge when plugged into the lamp and the lamp is on. You have to hook up the phone and then turn the lamp on. If the lamp is already on, you have to turn it off and on again before it will start charging your phone. Not a big issue; just something to be aware of, otherwise you might find your phone didn’t charge overnight. An excellent lamp that does ease gloomy autumn moods and seems to reduce my headaches when the weather is fluctuating.
