falling apart. for helmets

Loved the helmet. Until it literally fell apart. We gave it to our daughter who loves the color yellow. She takes care of the helmet, and one day after 6 months she takes off the helmet, the plastic shell was in her hands but part of the pillow stayed on her head. What worries me is that the only thing holding it together is some glue.
