I have an African kinara (candle holder) in which I use glass candles. As the wax dissolves and the wick burns to the bottom of the jar, it becomes increasingly difficult to use typical 2 1/4" long wooden matches without burning yourself. While I'm still looking at 12" matches as an alternative , I decided to try this product and see how it works. The first thing I did when I took this USB candle lighter out of the box was charge it. I plugged it in and it says 4 of the 5 LEDs are on so I left it plugged in and in less than an hour it was fully lit with 5 lights I started using this candle lighter on Wednesday January 1st 2020 to light all 7 Kinah candles .After that I repeated lighting 7 candles each day skipping only one day.On Monday 13th January when in the middle of lighting 4 out of 7 candles the lighter lost power and only 1 LED lit up.The lighter was so pretty impressive and kept working for almost 2 weeks straight. I then reconnected the micro USB cable to the lighter and oddly enough it fully restored power to 5 LEDs in about 15 minutes which seems too fast. 13 days is a pretty good job. WE RECOMMEND!
