This radio is much better than all those 10 inch screens that don't have buttons to turn off the music. I tried over 3 radios and they were all crap compared to this one. If you are looking for a CarPlay radio, buy this one, it will save you a lot of headaches. But the only reason this isn't a 5 star rating is a couple of things. Every time you turn on your car, the radio will turn on and play statically, and there's no other way to disable this feature other than muting the radio until your CarPlay is connected. It's not a big deal, but it's definitely annoying having to turn off the radio every time I get in the car. Another problem, I don't think you can turn off the screen. All you can do is turn down the brightness. Night driving would be much better if you could turn off all the lights from the radio. While CarPlay works well, I wish they linked your phone to play videos on iPhone 12. Overall it's a good screenless upgrade and not too expensive. If you want a flawless radio you will have to spend 400++.
