This awning is a great replacement for my worn out original I recommend watching some YouTube videos before attempting the installation You will need at least 1 wizard I found the most helpful tip was the old one Wipe track down and apply white lithium grease to it to help the new awning snap into place easily.You will most likely need to drill new holes for the rivets so get a rivet gun and some rivets.You will need a drill to remove the rivets from the roller tube, some screwdrivers , a razor blade, a pair of pliers, a 3/8" socket, an 11mm socket and wrench, a 1/4" socket, white lithium grease with a straw, a jar, silicone to recoat the awning Screws to reattach the awning at least 1.6 feet last and someone to hold and guide the awning into the track while you pull. get into a groove. I cut the end to a point to start. I oiled the awning after squeezing it into position with a squeegee to help the plastic rod slide and once it was 1/2 way in I had to grab the end and push it inch by inch because it was very gets tight. I pitched my tent myself and it was very difficult. With a few helpers, all the tools available, and the online instructions, you can do this without taking it to a motorhome dealership. My tent was only 10 feet. More and the rails narrow at the end of the slide and lubrication is essential.
