Cons: 1. The heating capacity is not enough and if you have a medium to large sized room or a room with high ceilings, it takes a long time to heat up.2. I knew this happened but the lack of fake magazines is a bummer. Crystal stones always seem goofy to me.3. The inner back of the screen is very fragile and easily scratched. Be careful when it's open and don't touch it as it will leave indelible marks.4. Despite the decent configuration of the lights and flames, it would be nice to have the size and height of the flames. I know it's asking a lot for its cost, but I'll throw it in there.5. Fan noise can be a little loud.6. I wish the vents were directional and ran the full length of the gear. Advantages: 1. item price2. Easy to install, one person can do it easily and quickly.3. Lighting Configuration Options4. It gives off heat. The actual hardware is visually appealing. Overall this is a decent heater/fireplace. You get what you pay for. Although paying more is not always better. You would have more options and pros and cons (IMO).
