05/02/18: Superb quality - white checked damask cotton fabric with brown edging around the edges. Cozy, warm and heavy. Not quite comparable to down, but I'm sick of my old comforter shedding micro-lint all over my bedroom, so I'm pretty happy with the synthetic fill. It doesn't shift, but sheds something (when I first got it, I found tiny white particles all over my dark blanket). Either way, if you're tired of inhaling dust, it's worth it. 4/20/19: It's been almost a year now and the duvet is spilling like crazy - pills on the duvet and all over the duvet cover and difficult to remove. Tried one of those sticky reels but it didn't score much. Next time I will try a tablet shaver. Very unfortunate as the blanket is soft and comfortable but rolls very uncomfortably.
