Thick copper colored aluminum with terrible grips
Extra thick aluminum makes them heavier than the competition. The "copper" appears to be a painted finish - one rinse and I saw a problem with what appeared to be a scratch - possibly my dishwasher load. HANDS are terrible. The ends are raw aluminum with a slightly awkward geometry; This end can't avoid digging into the palm when using. The rubber part is very slippery and feels cheap. *sigh*. I can finally see soap scum inside - none of the other pots/pans I have have these. Isn't that real Teflon? I guess not.
