I’m not one for a bunch of wires ran all over my car and dash board. This kit lets you easily wire your smart mirror directly to the fuse box. (You will need a couple other things for a really nice install. T-taps for connecting the backup camera to the reverse lights.) my only negative about this product is the fuse taps they send are not enough for the install so I had to buy extras. I guess this depends on your car and which fuse type you need. But be prepared and check your fuse type and get the fuse taps and fuses you need before you try the install.
