I originally bought two Rafael 8404s, one of which was BADLY spread out of the box. To give you an idea of how fluffy the hair is, it was also parted 30 degrees apart when wet and conditioned. I have used Masters Brush Soap with no success. So I put some of this product in a bottle and used a Blu-Tac to hold the brushes in such a way that the hair and a bit of the tip stayed in the solution. 24 hours and a bit of finger peeling later I have tons of - dry acrylic I believe - bristles and now they are coming back like they should! I honestly didn't expect it to work so well. I have attached my setup + result to this review. This product is good enough and now I've been using it on all my miniature brushes, mainly Raphael 8404'. s and Winsor and Newtston Series 7. Note: This will eat away at the plastic on the brush handle. So try to keep that decision from him. Also, only use this solution for natural hair products. I'm pretty sure it will eat all synthetic stubble.
