This is a really good machine. I had another compressor for 20 years until a power surge knocked it out along with all my outdoor watering clocks. I was told the block would arrive between December 21st and 27th. Received it on December 15th, a full week before shipping. due.Packaging was perfect and the device is very attractive. It took me longer to cut open the packaging than to install the cooler. Inside was a loose piece of 8x10 black plastic. I messaged the seller through Revain. Received a response, photos and instructions on how to apply this pallet by 4:30am the next day. It only took 5 seconds to install it. I let it cool for about 4 hours and then loaded it with 30 bottles of wine. I let it sit for an additional 24 hours to ensure it reached the temperature I wanted for my reds. I need to set it at 54 degrees so the top shelves stay at 62 and the bottom shelves stay at 58. Those are exactly the temperatures I want. Sometimes what you install doesn't necessarily match what the device produces. I have 2 fridge thermometers in there to monitor the temperature. It hasn't changed in the last 12 hours. The wines don't move until drunk, so 62 or 58 is fine. I have room for 30 bottles of wine. Most are red with a few pinots (thick bottles) and a 1.5 liter. If I only cooled Sauvignon Blanc, 35 bottles would easily fit. Or if all cabs were Justin. But I have red wine of all sizes, so the large bottles in the basket are on the sides and the rest easily fit on the shelves. Like the other reviewer, I kept testing it to make sure it worked. There is no sound after cooling. In cooling mode, the hum is barely audible. I never thought I would find a supercharger unit as good or quieter than my previous one, but I did. You can pull out the shelves and they stop halfway so you can see which wine you choose. Is there anything perfect? no The blue LEDs aren't bright enough to illuminate the vines, but luckily I have an overhead light at this point so I can see everything perfectly. I'm wondering why the 28 bottle reviews are included in the 35 bottle reviews.
