Blanket that can be put on

Look, this is not a custom made high quality keepsake. Yes, the threads will resolve within a few weeks of receipt. But I'm going to take a needle and thread and darn them because damn if this isn't my new favorite blanket pretending to be a coat. It's as cozy as I dreamed it to be, and while it's larger than I imagined, I found extravagance to be its virtue as well. Things I've done with a giant hood that covers my head when pulled up: protecting my ears from Catskill Frost, taking furry selfies, and hiding my face from anyone on the train I might be reminded of by Tinder phantoms remembered. Things I've done with the hood pulled back as a collar: looked as bougie as possible, like a freaky yeti princess (disgusting snow bunny, if you will). The compliments I received on this occasion are too many to count, both from strangers and friends. I tend to say the price with embarrassment, as far as I'm concerned $30 is a waste of money but everyone else seems in awe of it. Yes, the cuffs are a little tight and a little prickly, but they keep the cold out. Yes, it's engulfing my body like something out of a sci-fi movie trying to take over me. But it doesn't let the cold through. I wish it had a little more chest protection but look I would buy it again. Did I mention this is basically the blanket I got away with at work? That's all you need to know.
