Review on ๐Ÿšช Charcoal Andersen WaterHog Polypropylene Entrance Mat by Jacob Ferrarini

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent, attractive, useful rug.

The "waffles" of Waterhog rugs offer a unique way of trapping dirt, grass, etc. Dirt stays on the carpet, visibly reducing the mess that can be traced back to your home. There is a guinea pig on either side of the door - smaller on the inside (tan) and much larger black to create a nice fit on the outside (this one). They keep you clean. Note. There is something really interesting about the design of these rugs. They trap dirt and debris on the mat; doesn't go to your floor. Sometimes it takes a powerful vacuum to remove all the dirt - it traps it so effectively. At the time of writing this (September), Alaskan winter is still a few months away and the summer sun is gone, but we expect it will be useful protection from wind, drift, ice and more. (Please no moose in front of the door). Seriously, we are very happy with this purchase and expect it to continue to perform well for some time to come. The update will take place in spring. Update 3/4/13: There's still snow here in Alaska, but it's receding. Today came a warm 42 degree spring. This mat handled mud, snow, ice and wind very well. No complaints. The carpet still looks like new.
