Treatlife disappoints me. I've been using five of these for about two months and here are my thoughts: These plugs can't remember the state of the relay when the power goes out. So if you have a power outage, the switches go to the "off" state. All treatlife stubs behave the same. I've emailed Treatlife Support to report this, time flies and all remains the same. The main behaviors are: Dimmer: There are 3 different modes to control the dimmer and you can set the minimum value from 1 to 100. The dimmer is fine if you use standard bulbs (not smart ones) with dimming support. If you use smart bulbs (including healing bulbs), be prepared for Ultra Disco Strobe Experience or Exorsist Haunting House mode :))))). Brightness of a smart light bulb up to 10%. If the dimmer is between 31 and 40, set the brightness to 25%. etc. etc. etc. a bit complicated but functional and why the value 15? because below this value, the lamps become unstable and begin to flicker. The dimmer has 3 modes, but no matter which mode you use, as you approach 10, the smart bulbs will click. Ceiling fan control. This is very important as this is the main job of this device, but in some ceiling fans it is not very functional because of the power that this device sends to the ceiling fan. There are three different types of ceiling fans in my house: 1 Hunter Deco 1 Westinghouse and 3 KDK. This unit works well with a Hunder Deco ceiling fan, but it's a nightmare with KDK and Westinghouse. The fan control has only 4 levels The power that the device sends to the ceiling fan is not enough 1 to 2 (almost static) 3 (very slow) for KDK and Westinghouse. In other words, level 3, 2 and 1 don't move the fan at all (very slowly), but level 4 does and does it great! You cannot control the power of a ceiling fan like you can with a dimmer. Then it wouldn't be a problem if it could have a speed between 3 and 4, I mean instead of limiting the fan speeds to 4 it would be great to be able to plug it in like a dimmer control for lights or something. Ability to set up a dimmer from a fan. I wrote an email with this problem for treatment and. I'm still waiting. I am considering removing these promising devices. It's a real pleasure for me to tell Alexa to turn on the fan. and voila! but this problem is very frustrating. Another thing to consider is the size of the device (a bit deeper than other devices). You must have enough space in the wall for cables and devices. Edit: My experience is becoming more and more valuable. The switches can't remember the settings, when you encounter a power outage, you need to reset the dimmer settings, this switch will damage some light bulbs because of the dimmer. If you use a dimmer with smart bulbs, be careful with the dimmer. Treatlife is doing nothing to improve this. --------------- Are there any news to this topic? no I'm still having the same problems with my ceiling fan controller... I'm thinking about replacing my smart switch... now I think I've wasted my money. Very annoying and frustrating. and now Alexa does not recognize the fan speed. When I ask Alexa to set the fan speed to 4 or 3, Alexa says "She can't know how to apply this configuration". Kind regards
