I have no doubt that these are pure natural balsamic pine needles dried and pressed. They are shapely, perfectly dry and carefully packed. It's not overwhelming and I took my time opening doors or windows and there was no lingering smell of smoke. If you have reasonable expectations, you might like it. Just don't get romantic like me.
